Nepal-Tibet overland adventure tour
 Day 01: Arrival in kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing tour to Boudhnath Stupa, Pashupatinath, Bagmati River , Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swyambhunath Stupa.
Day 03: Sight seeing of Dakshinkali, Chovar, kiritpur and Bongamati.
Day 04: Kathmandu-Nyalam (3750m)-123 kms.
Early morning drive from Kathmandu to Kodari (Approx 4hrs.). After completing immigration and custom formalities drive uphill to Zhangmu. The Tibetan guide will meet the group on arrival at the check post and proceed to Nyalam.
Day 05: Nyalam-Tingri (4135m)-215 kms.
Drive about 7 hrs. to Shegar crossing two spectacular passes (Nyalam pass(3800m) and Lalung La pass (5082m). This drive offers fantastic view of the high mountains including Mt. Everest (8848m).
Day 06: Tingri-Shigatse (3900m)-245 kms.
Drive about 6 hrs to reach Shigatse, the palace of famous Tashilunpo Monastery and seat of Panchen Lama until his death in 1989 with its huge Thanka wall which is clearly visible from the north side of the road. Enroute you will visit Sakya Monastery, provided the road condition is good. The Monastery is 26 kms off from the main road, which is the oldest and most important Bonpo monasteries.
Day 07: Shigatse-Gyantse (3950m)-92 kms.
In the morning visit the Tashilunpo Monastery and the free bazaar of Shigatse. After lunch embark on a pleasant 2 hrs. drive to Gyantse. Here you will visit the Khumbum Stupa and Phalkor Monastery.
Day 08: Gyantse-Lhasa (3650m)-260 kms.
Driving to Lhasa takes about 8 hrs, crossing 2 passes the Karo La (5010m) and Kamba La (4794m) pass and Lake Yamdrok Tso ( Turquoise Lake ). You will cross the Yarlung Tsangpo river and see the distant view of the Potala Palace .
Day 09/10: Lhasa sight seeing tour.
Visit the Potala Palace , Norbulinka Palace , Drepung & Sera monastery, Jokhang Temple & Barkhor Bazaar.
Day 11: Lhasa-Kathmandu transhimalayan flight.
Transfer to Gongar Airport , which takes about 02 hrs. driving. The flight duration is 1 hr and 10 min and it is one of the most beautiful flights in the world. On your flight you shall see the Yarlung Tsangpo river, lake Yamdruk , Kanchenjunga (8586m), Makalu (8465m) and Mt. Everest (8848m).
Day 12: Leisure day to excursion around Thamel.
