Relatively a short but fantastic trek into Helambu taking you through the heart of the Sherpa & Tamang Culture, along the way. We begin the trek with 5 hrs drives to Melamchi Pul and further to Kakani. The people here are in their appearance, customary hospitality, and devotion to Tibetan Buddhism, but have their own language and customs. Hidden among the oak rhododendron and fir forests, and these steep river valleys, are a number of sacred cave dwellings and meditation sites of historic lamas. The villages are colorful and impressive along the trail. The mountain scenery provides a stunning backdrop for a transcendental experience. Meeting the trail from Gosainkund, we trek down to Chisopani and then to Sundarijal from where we drive to kathmandu. Moderate elevations and easy access from Kathmandu make this an ideal trekking for all average people.

Day 01: Kathmandu - Melanchi drive 4-5hrs. –Kakani 2000m. 2-3hrs. trek
Day 02: Kakani - Sermathang 2600m. 6-7hrs. trek
Day 03: Sermathang - Tarkghang 2490m. 5-6hrs. trek
Day 04: Tarkghang - Melamchi Gaon 2530m. 6-7hrs. trek
Day 05: Melamchi Gaon - Tharepati 3630m. 5-6hrs. trek
Day 06: Tharepati - Gulbhanjyang 2260m. 5-6hrs. trek
Day 07: Gulbhanjyang - Chisopani 2140m. 6-7hrs. trek
Day 08: Chisopani - Sundarijal - Kathmandu 5-6hrs.
