Rolwaling Trek

A trekking with an extra adventure walking along the high glacier lakes and pass. Close to the Tibetan frontier are an enormous rock precipice. From a narrow defile in the wall, perhaps the 10 meters wide and appearing as if spilt with a giant. Axe comes a raging torrent, the most remote and beautiful areas in Nepal. It is here that tales of the yeti originated. The adventure passes through some magnificent mountain scenery. We drive to Barabise, our starting point for the trek. Starting with a steep climb to the Tinsang La with its rewarding views that includes Everest we descend to Bigu Gompa and the Bhoti Kosi. After a pleasant walk along the rivers, we reach Monthole. Climbing steeply from the Bhote Kosi River, we reach Simigoan. After a short steep climb, via beautiful mixed forest, we camp beside the Rolwaling River. Here we spend some time exploring the forest camp area. We continue climbing to Bedding and NA and visit the nearby Glacier Lake, exploring the area as we go. We retrace our steps to the forest camp and then back to chetchet. We follow the river through some medieval villages to Manthole, Chetre and Charikot then kathmandu or go more adventures camping along the Cho-Rolpa glacier lake and a hard walk on the snow to cross the Tashilaptsa which is like climbing Ramdung Peak and come to the world of Everest Thame-Nache and Lukla from where we fly back to kathmandu.
