2 nights 3 days program
Day 01- A five hours leisurely drive on the highway along
the Trisuli river takes through ethnic tribe of the Tharu's
are the local inhabitants of Chitwan and are agriculturists
by profession. The guests will be met by the naturalist and
transferred by jeep, river boats or elephant-rovers the lodge.
A welcome drink, cold towels and tika will be arranged. Soon
the guest will be briefed by the GRO regarding the park and
the program available. Lunch will be followed by a choice of
activities arranged for you.
In the late afternoon, the guests will be taken for a deep
into the jungle for viewing and photographing wildlife or jungle
walk is organized for the guests to experience the abundant
bird life and the flora and fauna of the park. Dinner and over
night at camp or lodge.
Day 02- Early morning guests will be mounted on elephant back
and taken for a jungle safari for 2-3hrs penetrating through
dense grasslands to view wildlife. The grassland is the favorite
habitat of the rhinos and other mammals. After breakfast, the
guests are taken to the elephant stables where the senior naturalists
will give a talk about the habits of the elephants. Here one
may enjoy the rare scene of the elephants at bath.
After lunch, you may relax around the lodge or take a drive
through the jungles in landrovers followed by a dugout canoe
ride down the narayani river where there are very good chances
of viewing the gharial crocodiles as well as the mugger crocodiles,
fresh water dolphins to know abut the flora of the park. Dinner
and overnight at camp or lodge.
Day 03- Once again in the morning, you may have an elephant
ride or your favorite program before your departure depending
on the time of your departure from the lodge.
After breakfast, the guest will be transferred by jeep to
waiting vehicles and drive back to Kathmandu.
